I recently took a trip to Budapest, and its a wonderful city!
I would have happily stayed for another month in the 35°C sunshine, relaxing in the amazing thermal baths.
Budapest was one of the most beautiful places I have seen and our trip luckily wasn't effected in any way by the swelling of The Danube river. *Phewwww
(With exception of some slight travel disruptions etc as you might expect.... but the public there and the police were so amazingly helpful!!)
The pictures show our trip up to and around the Royal Palace also known as Kiralyi Palota or Buda Castle, and Fisherman's Bastion which were both so impressive!
The scale of the Royal palace was immense and the tiles on the roof of Matthias Church at Fisherman's Bastion were simply beautiful.
